2000 Ford F150 Door Locks Not Working

Specifically when i press the button to unlock or lock the doors the locks don t respond either way.

I bet the noise kind of sounds like a humming grinding noise in the doors as you watch the door lock just vibrate. Please email me with where you bought these parts and if this really works. The door panel will need to be removed. If this occurs you need to troubleshoot the power door locks and keyless entry remote on the ford vehicle.

I just inherited my fathers 2000 ford f150. Is that the most logical thing or is there something else i can try first. I have a 2000 f 150 and the power locks are not working properly. Most likely the door lock actuators have failed this is not uncommon for both to fail at the same time.

The electric part of the locks do not work. Step 1 change out the battery on the keyless entry remote control if the car is not responding to the buttons you press. The power door locks dont work at all i have to use my key. Checked the batteries in the key fobs checked the fuses checked the car battery.

Power door lock repair i just did this repair on my 2001 f350 powerstroke 7 3l dually 4 door. Its a real hassel. The lock actuators are not hard to replace they are inside the door. They do not respond to the remote.

I am buying a 2000 ford f150 4x4 with electric locks.
